The biggest change is the addition of folders that can be used to store saved game data on the HDD. The HDD also changes the options you have for handling data on a memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2). You can copy game data from licensed PlayStation® peripherals: * From one memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2) to another. * From a memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2) into a folder on the HDD. * From one memory card to another. * From a memory card (for PlayStation®) into a folder on the HDD. * From a folder on the HDD to a memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2). * From a folder on the HDD to a memory card. * From one folder on your HDD into a different folder on the same HDD. NOTE: Data copied from an HDD folder to a memory card must correspond to the memory card format. For instance, PlayStation®2 data in an HDD folder may only be copied to a memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2) and PlayStation® data in an HDD folder may only be copied to a memory card. To copy saved game data: 1. Turn on the PlayStation®2 system and make sure the disc tray is empty. 2. Select Browser from the Main Menu and press X Btn. 3. Select the saved game data you want to copy. * If the game data is on a memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2), highlight the browser icon for that card and press X Btn to view the card's contents. * If the game data you want to copy is in the HDD, select the HDD icon and press X Btn to examine its contents. Highlight the folder where your saved game data is located and press X Btn to view that folder's contents. 4. Highlight the browser icon for the saved game data you want to copy and press Triangle Btn to view the options menu for that icon. 5. Select Copy and press X Btn. 6. Choose where you want to copy the saved game data to. Press the arrow buttons to scroll through the available choices. This list will include the memory cards (if any) inserted into your system as well as any folders on your HDD. Select where you want to copy your saved game data to and press X Btn. 7.
